As many of you know, I’ve been facing serious health challenges over the past couple of years. While I’m currently in the hospital being treated for sepsis, this is just one part of a much bigger journey with chronic illness.

I’ve been incredibly grateful for the ways insurance has helped, but even with that support, the medical bills continue to add up. Earlier this year, I had to make the difficult decision to close my salon after 8 years because of my health. It was heartbreaking, but it’s also given me the space to focus on healing and on my family.
