Over the past few years, my health has continued to decline, and navigating chronic illness has become an overwhelming part of my daily life. Between ongoing treatments, hospital stays, specialists, emergency visits, and the constant need for medical supplies, the financial strain has grown heavier than I ever imagined.

Earlier this year, I had to close my salon after 8 years—something that broke my heart but became necessary as my body could no longer keep up with the demands of working behind the chair. Since then, my focus has been on managing my health, caring for my family, and trying my best to move forward one day at a time.

I’ve been incredibly grateful for the support insurance has provided, but unfortunately, it doesn’t come close to covering everything. The out-of-pocket bills, treatments not fully covered, medications, and ongoing care needs continue to pile up.
