Community Support for Rai Family Tragedy

Help Us Honor the Life of Amber Bahadur Rai

Dear Friends and Community Members,

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Mr. Amber Bahadur Rai, a beloved father and member of our Bhutanese-Nepalese community in South Saint Louis On Monday, May 12, 2025.

Late Mr.Rai tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle while walking near his home. According to St. Louis Police, the accident happens near the intersection of Gravois and spring ave in south Saint Louis. He suffered a fatal head injury and died at the scene.

Mr. Rai had been living in South Saint Louis since 2012 with his wife and two young sons who now face the heartbreaking loss of their father. He went to Grab a Grocery from Aldi near Gravios and he never came back according to his family members.

As a community, we are coming together to support his family and arrange a respectful and dignified funeral for him. We kindly ask for your help—please consider making a contribution to honor his life and show his sons that they are surrounded by love and support.
