Community Support for Petra & Angelo

This is a fund for our community to continue to support Petra and Angelo in this difficult, frightening, and tender moment while Petra is in the ICU.

As we continue to bring our love, care, tears, and prayers, let us also recognize the very real need for some financial support for our dear friends who have given so much of themselves to so many of us and to the School of Lost Borders.

We are currently seeking support for Angelo's stay in Reno as he continues to remain at Petra's side while she receives the care that she needs. These funds will cover costs like hotel, food, gas, and other necessities to support Angelo to remain present and able to meet whatever arises. These needs could change as the updates continue, but this is our estimate thus far.

In the future, we may increase our ask for financial support and broaden our community invitations to meet the likely significant medical costs that Petra's treatment will incur. But since we cannot know what that may look like, we are just asking for support for some basic needs to keep Angelo and Petra tended in Reno right now.

Please do not share this fundraiser outside of our update community at this time. If the need arises, this request will shift, but in the meantime let's honor the privacy and intimacy of this moment in their journey.
