Community Support for Mr. Fred's Farm

Thank you all so much for your support in surpassing our goal!! Donations are paused for now while we figure out what other needs and wishes Mr. Fred has! I will continue to update. Thank you for this incredible community care!

Hello! Many of you know Mr. Fred and his farm along the greenway. He's been a neighborhood staple for a long time and right now he could use our support. The silver lining in this is that he’s still able to farm on the land he’s been tending to for decades but he needs and deserves community support during this transition.

He doesn’t have a working phone at this time and will need support with supplies for the land. I’m hoping we can raise enough to provide him with what he needs to work on his farm and a reliable mode of communication.

These funds will be used to purchase a phone, minutes, and whatever else he might need during this time. A trusted neighbor and community friend suggested he not be given the funds directly as he may be taken advantage of. I, Mina, will use the funds raised to purchase and supply the materials to Mr. Fred directly. All receipts and proof that he received materials will be provided! Help us get Mr. Fred back on his feet and tending the land we’ve all come to love!
