Community Support for McDermott Family

June McDermott was a true shining light in the Bloomfield community. She selflessly volunteered her time at Heartfelt Designs, the local business her daughter-in-law, Rachel, owns and operates. June’s warmth, kindness, and love for her family and community touched everyone she met, and we all cherished her deeply in return.

Tragically, June passed away unexpectedly at the home she shared with her son William, daughter-in-law Rachel, and their children, following complications from a medical procedure.

Her sudden loss has left an unimaginable void in her family’s hearts and in our community. During this difficult time, Rachel had to close her store for two weeks to grieve and handle the arrangements, which has placed a strain on their family’s finances. In addition, Rachel now faces the added challenges of hiring an employee to help run the store and arranging childcare for her young children.

Rachel, June, and their entire family have been unwavering supporters of our community from the very beginning. Now, it’s our turn to come together and support them in their time of need.
