Community Support for Lesa & Mo Donnelly

Hi, my name is Kelly Mullaly and I've known Maureen (Mo) and Lesa Donnelly for almost twenty years. and am proud to call them both friends.

Many, many folks on PEI (and beyond) will know them as well from Mo's multiple years at various Island Tim Horton's locations and Lesa from her years of work in animal welfare at the PEI Humane Society and now Crossroads Animal Health Centre.

Anyone who knows them, knows they are a dynamic mother-daughter-duo -- and they need our help.

Mo's been living with chronic disease for the last five years, following a serious health crisis that permanently affected her breathing and kidney function. Those conditions have now been compounded by a diagnosis of aggressive stage four lung cancer which an amazing team of medical professionals is helping Mo and Lesa navigate at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown.

As Mo's only next-of-kin and caregiver Lesa has had to step away from her full-time employment, which - as you can imagine - has a big impact on their day-to-day finances. She's also looking at other major expenses in the days and weeks ahead.

As someone who has benefitted directly from Mo and Lesa's kindness and generosity many times - including post-Hurricane Fiona - I have created this GoFundMe campaign because I know there are a LOT of folks out there who would like to find a way to support these two very deserving souls.
