Our dear friend Sonny Maxwell went to be with the Lord on March 28th. Although Sonny had fallen ill over this past winter, no one would know it would be the last winter we’d get to spend with Sonny. Sonny was a man of strong faith; he loved God and Jesus and told everyone he met along his journey in this life about God and Jesus. Sonny was on a mission to spread the gospel; he wanted to one day see us all again in Heaven. Sonny loved our community and he loved to help others. Sonny was my dear friend, and his wife Laquitta is my dear friend. She is truly devastated by his unexpected passing. On top of everything, bills are piling in, and I’d love to see the community come together to help Laquitta during this difficult time as she is mourning such a huge loss.
