PLEASE HELP ME WALK AGAIN.!!!

My name is Kristina Andrews, and I am 32 years old. On June 18, 2025 my life changed in an instant when I fell from the fourth floor of an apartment building. I sustained a devastating ASIA B spinal cord injury at C6 and I was paralyzed from the chest down.

I spent a month at Tampa General Hospital, where my life was stabilized. I am incredibly grateful that they covered two months for me at NeuLife Rehabilitation Center. There, I received specialized physical therapy and electrotherapy five days a week — the kind of high-intensity rehabilitation that gives someone with my injury a real chance at regaining movement.

Those two months gave me hope.

Unfortunately, my Medicaid does not cover an inpatient rehabilitation stay at their facility. After the hospital coverage ended I no longer had insurance to cover the bill, now I’m in a nursing facility.

Working on my own and staying consistent with exercise has helped me make tremendous progress. I have regained full mobility in my upper extremities and have recovered nearly all of my upper-body function. If you saw me from the waist up, you would likely never know I suffered a spinal cord injury. I can move my arms normally, have regained my strength, and am able to do many things that once seemed impossible after my accident. The only noticeable reminder of my injury is that my hands still cramp up from time to time.

I started a new fundraiser and I’m asking for $10,000 total and I can tell you exactly what I’m using it for. I am improving so much that I know I will walk again. I need more rehab. I will be attending Neubility Rehabilitation and Wellness in Pinellas Park Florida. I’ve done the math and with this $10,000 I will be able to have 82 MORE SESSIONS!!

This is life-changing for me and my family. And I want to say every single little dollar counts. AND I MEAN IT. So instead of getting that bag of chips, or that bottle of soda… Or that one extra drink at the bar. Please think about this and how good of a cause it is. One dollar… Two dollar… Three dollars and so on ALL add up and I will appreciate every one of you.

If you absolutely cannot donate, no worries.. life happens. But to help out you could share my post with others!

if you know me, you know that I ama a good hearted person, now with a beautiful, three year-old daughter and a life to live.

Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers! I thank God every day that I survived, that I didn’t get a brain injury, and just for my future that looks so bright. My daughter and I playing on the floor and holding her hand, walking into a grocery store. It’ll happen I know it!
