Hi! I’m Logan, looking to raise funds for the newest community kitten

Yesterday, my boss stepped outside to find this precious kitten sitting on her doorstep. She picked him up to take him along with us in our travels, then realized he was wounded. She wrapped him in a towel and headed to me

We then went to Beverlys, where we were told that we would need to take him to Auburn Emergency Care, his wound looked far too bad for their services to treat. I asked if it would be worth stopping at my vet's office on the way to urgent care, understandably accepting that we may be turned away at 4 pm on a Friday in a full waiting room.

With all of these factors against us, Dr Darby's team came through for us. They snuck us in between their scheduled appointments on the busiest of Friday craziness. After a quick check-up, some honest words and a little bit of medicine, we learned that this 1 pound kitten is a trooper. He was most likely hit by a car & may need his tail amputated on Monday.

In the matter of minutes, I managed to get ahold of a friend who gladly accepted the ask of taking him in for the weekend, until he can be looked at again on Monday morning

In the vet waiting room, while explaining all of this to someone, we decided to name him 'Karma' when the chance came up organically in conversation

My boss Alicia has selflessly offered to help assist through the payment process - however I am starting this fundraiser to alleviate some of the stress that will come with future vet bills. The next step is possible surgery, inevitable appointments through the healing process.
