Community support for Jude Boussom

Raising money for Kalamazoo Central freshman Jude Boussom and his family (Rachel and Jason-local small business owners) to help pay for uncovered medical and travel expenses. On Thursday January 27, 2021 doctors discovered a mass in Jude’s brain. This mass was determined to be a Glial tumor and is blocking his spinal fluid from circulating. Jude had initial brain surgery on January 29th to reroute his spinal fluid and biopsy the mass. Since that time he was readmitted to the hospital for an infection that required further intervention. He is currently in the PICU at Bronson for treatment and recovery and is doing well. While it is expected that Jude will successfully recover, this will be a long journey that will likely require further medical treatment and possibly surgery both locally and at U of M medical hospital. Many have reached out asking what they can do to support Jude and his family. Therefore this page has been created to assist and support the family as best we can. Please donate what you are able.
