Our dear friend and community member Jae Southerland suddenly and unexpectedly lost their mom Revely Jordan recently - in mid July 2025. They were close with their mom and this is a devastating shock in so many ways. We are setting up this GoFundMe as a way to alleviate the immediate financial strain for Jae during the next few months to cover: unpaid time they needed to take off work after her passing, an October trip to North Carolina for her memorial, and payment of her car insurance for the next few months.

We hope to send Jae these funds as soon as possible, as they will be needed in September. Jae has often been a steadfast support to others in their community and we hope this is one way we can support them and as they navigate through this time without the added burden of financial stress.
