It's crazy how things can change in a moment.

This month has been... challenging.

Brad was rear-ended by someone who was uninsured, and our Kia has been at the shop for two weeks and counting.

I took my daughter to the ER last week, concerned her eardrum burst (she's ok).

Brad went to the ER due to some odd and concerning side effects (he's ok).

Worst of all, yesterday... the day we had a foot of snow dumped on us, Hayden, our 2-year-old, was running like he does every day, all day; and he tripped and fell and BROKE his left femur.

We are currently at the hospital awaiting a time for his leg to be set.

It's hard to ask for help, but mounds of medical debt while desperately trying to get ahead is also hard.

All of this has been a great reminder to really enjoy the good days.
