It is hard to process the news and imagine the pain that Ty's family is feeling with the loss of their son, brother, and friend to so many. May God hold his family and our community tightly at this time.

Just as the fire department is a family, Ty's mom Angie and children were a part of our Salem UM Church family. We cannot begin to imagine the loss. Firefighter Ty Voth fell in the line of duty while bravely serving his community. When others run away from danger, our Wichita Firefighters run in. Ty was a five-year veteran of the department.
