Dennis the Menace. A 1–2-year-old pitty/boxer mix who’s been on the run for who knows how long. He entered our lives on 5/23/25 and quickly stole our hearts. Frightened and constantly on the move, Dennis evaded capture for days. But thanks to an incredible community effort—and the determination of Mary Humphrey—he was safely brought in on 5/30/25.

Dennis has already had an initial vet visit where he was treated for an ear infection, multiple ticks, and fleas. He also received a month’s worth of flea and tick prevention.

We’re happy to share that a stray hold and foster placement have been secured for Dennis. However, he still needs additional veterinary care to ensure he’s truly healthy and on the path to recovery.

We’re asking for the community’s continued support in covering these medical costs, as well as providing the basic essentials his foster will need to care for him in the weeks ahead.
