Community Support for Dakota Trenkle Jr.'s Recovery

Hello, my name is Brittney. In support of my sister Stephanie and her son Dakota Trenkle Jr., we are asking the community to help fund money for medical bills and support for the family while traveling . Dakota went missing on 7/27/25 at approximately 9:00 am and was found on 7/30/25 at approximately 1:15 pm. He was located in the woods at the bottom of a ravine in approximately 5 inches of water and had head trauma after a skateboarding accident. He was airlifted to a hospital where he is in critical condition from his injuries in the PICU. After his brother found his skateboard on 7/30/25 at approximately 10:30 am, that gave us a huge lead. We also want to thank our community, Goose Creek Lake firefighters, and FCC's dog team. Without you, it could have been longer before we got answers.
