“It’s always been God’s shop not Todd’s shop.” From an early age, dad has always had a caring heart for his community and the people within those communities. From being in the fire service for 30 years to then being led by God to open up this little sandwich shop in Jasper, GA back in 2015. Coach’s Cuts quickly became a staple to the Jasper community and all of the people in it. We are Todd’s 4 daughters who have seen first hand the impact that his shop has had on each and every person that’s come in it over the many years. From our grandparents, who were by Dad’s side every step of the way as he started it up. We see them in the seats of the restaurant even after they have passed on. The shop hosted 2 of our own rehearsal dinners for our weddings. All 6 of his grand babies have grown there, from their baby showers to birthday parties and everything in between. This shop has been a second home to our family for such a long time. Unfortunately, on the night of February 25th we got a call that the shop had caught fire and was actively being worked to get it under control. There was extensive damage which resulted in a total loss of the shop. While it was such a shell shock to all of us, we know that God has a bigger plan that is sometimes hard for us to understand. With that being said, there are still financial obligations that the shop has each month. Without its patrons and revenue from the community’s support, these are now financial hardships that are hard to bear. The insurance process can take a substantial amount of time and bills don’t stop unfortunately. We want to help ease that hardship for Dad and so we ask: if you are capable and willing, we’d love for you to help give back to this little shop that has given so much to this community. First and foremost, however, please pray for clarity of the mind and peace of the heart as we navigate through the next steps and what all that it entails for Coach’s Cuts and its future
