My name is Lauren, and I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friend Chera and her daughter Josie. Last April, their entire lives were changed when her now ex husband was charged with being in possession of child sexually explicit material. Things escalated from there, and divorce proceedings ensued. She was left with taking care of her daughter, her home, and three businesses while paying $20k for a lawyer and having to give the individual money for equity in the house.

She has $7k left to pay off her lawyer and to be done with this mess. I am asking the community to come together and help a single mom who went through the unimaginable all while keeping her head up. She’ll never ask for help on her own, so I’m hoping we can help ease some burden off of her, since she is doing everything on her own.
