Bev and Renee List are well-known in the Chatham-Kent community, having fostered and cared for countless children over the years. Now, their family needs our support.

This summer, their son Donovan began experiencing sudden mobility issues. Scans revealed lesions on his brain, leading to weeks of hospital stays, countless tests, and no clear diagnosis. He spent over six weeks at London’s University Hospital, undergoing biopsies and genetic testing, but doctors were unable to determine the cause.

He is now in the ICU at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, struggling with blurred vision, difficulty understanding simple things, and changes in his speech, mobility, and awareness. His parents have not left his side, living full-time in Toronto while unable to work.

The family faces mounting costs for travel, lodging, meals, and caring for Donovan’s siblings. Every donation will help ease their financial burden so they can focus on what matters most, Donovan’s recovery.
