Hi, I'm Catkin! I'm a writer, a feline advocate, a cat sitter, and a reading tutor for K-2 kids. The tutor gig is only part-time and it ends for the school year on May 14th, so I'm trying to find a new opportunity but haven't had any luck yet. Plus, cat sitting business has been slow since spring break. In the meantime, I'm falling behind on bills and rent is late. On top of that, my sixteen-year-old cat, Calypso, was diagnosed in late March with high-grade lymphoma, and my other senior cat, Tenshi, has been having some health issues that we still need to figure out. I used the last of my small savings for Caly's treatment so far and am now barely scraping by. I need financial community support for Caly's hospice and end of life care, Tenshi's health care, and taking care of me, my cats, and our home until I find a new position. This includes rent and other bills, buying food for me and my cats, gas, household needs, and my own personal health and care. I'm also chronically ill but trying to stay as healthy as possible until I can find a job that offers health insurance.
