Hello Friends and Neighbors,

Please help us support Carlos De La Garza Sr., a beloved neighbor and father of Carlitos, who passed away on Tuesday, August 5th, at 29 years old, from complications associated with cerebral palsy. Over the years, many neighbors would see Carlos walking Carlitos in his wheelchair throughout West Berkeley. We will miss those conversations and his beautiful smile.

We now have the opportunity to come together as a community and support Carlitos' funeral expenses and to help Carlos as he navigates this challenging period while also maintaining his mortgage and monthly payments.

The devotion, the love, and the care that Carlos Senior and his late wife Adriana showed Carlitos were nothing short of amazing. Carlitos was cherished by his Dad, his Mom's family, and his IHSS workers.

Please provide the mutual support of our community to this extraordinary family in whatever way you can.

Por favor, ayúdennos a apoyar a Carlos De La Garza Sr., querido vecino y padre de Carlitos, quien falleció el martes 5 de agosto a los 29 años debido a complicaciones asociadas con una parálisis cerebral. A lo largo de los años, muchos vecinos vieron a Carlos paseando a Carlitos en su silla de ruedas por West Berkeley. Extrañaremos esas conversaciones y su hermosa sonrisa.

Ahora tenemos la oportunidad de unirnos como comunidad para apoyar los gastos funerarios de Carlitos y ayudarlo a superar este período difícil, a la vez que mantiene su hipoteca y sus pagos mensuales.
