Hello all, as some of you may have seen - Black Key Coffee has been closed for several days, and will be for the foreseeable future due to a family emergency. Last week, the lovely owner Devon went into early labor with their third bundle of joy. While they are safe and healthy, the birth and postpartum have been a rough road. Devon suffered a placenta abruption and her uterus rupturing. As a result, she was rushed into the hospital for an emergency c-section. Not long after baby boy made his arrival, things turned south and he was placed on full oxygen and has been in the NICU since. He has had several procedures to get him to a safe and stable status. Devon and family are still working to process all that happened and the road to full recovery will be long for both mama and baby. While they recover, I’m here to ask the community to help the family financially so they can stay with baby boy at the hospital and not worry about the business and finances.
