Hello Good People, my name is Matt and I own a small bakery in upstate New York. Most of us up here have little in the way of savings or investments to pull from in times of trouble. This is one of those times when we need to turn to our community and ask for help.

Our wonderfully good-natured and generous friend, Almer Mascarinas, had a severe stroke on Tuesday as he was about to begin making deliveries for us on our Saranac Lake route. Today, we have learned that he will not recover and they will be removing his support on Friday.

His wife, Jodi, has been very strong through this all so far, but she and her husband are people of modest means and funds for a proper burial and funeral are not a certainty for him. I am hoping that everyone who struggles similarly can chip in a few bucks to help out with his coming funeral costs. Any donation of any size would be greatly appreciated.
