Support for Melissa and Hailee After Their Loss

PLEASE HELP AND PASS THIS ON!

On August 31, 2024 My friend Melissa lost her fiance and love of her life , Chris Montplaisir. Chris has a sudden heart attack one week after turning 40. Obviously this has left Melissa and Haile, (her 6 year old daughter Chis was helping her raise as his own) devastated and in a terrible financial crisis. Chris was the sole provider for his family.

Melissa is facing eviction and is desperately searing for a place for her, Hailee and their aging pup, Rusty. Her current landlord is demanding 2 months rent and Melissa simply doesn't make enough to afford this. Currently she is in school to become a veterinary technician and works full time as a veterinary assistant. THIS IS A DIRE SITUATION and she really needs our HELP.

Both Chris and Melissa have overcome many obstacles to get where they finally were. Sober, DEEPLY rooted in their faith and out of the city.

ANY support you can provide will help with moving expenses, first/last rent in a new place, food and winter/fall clothes for Hailee. PLEASE if you know of any affordable apartments to rent that would be helpful as well!

This is one of those times that we need to rally around another Sister in Sobriety....if you can, please help. Melissa is one of the nicest people I have ever met and I know she would help you if she could.
