Support Coach Will Williams in Solano County
Update: The Williams family would like to thank everyone who donated and for their words of encouragement. Will is getting stronger every day and is grateful for the support he has received. Thanks again!
Coach Will Williams and his wife, Sequoia, have been pillars of our community, consistently lending a helping hand and offering support and mentorship. Unfortunately, over the past two months, their lives have been turned upside down due to a sudden medical emergency, which has caused residual symptoms that require ongoing care.
Will and Sequoia have been volunteering in Solano County for over ten years. Will is the current President of the Fairfield Falcons Youth Football Organization, where he has coached and mentored Fairfield's youth for many years. Will has coached girls' and boys' basketball, baseball, 7/7 football, Flag, Youth, and High School football. Will and his family have hosted community BBQs, Easter Egg hunts, School/Sports donation drives.
On December 12th, 2025 Coach Will Williams suffered a stroke and was rushed to the Hospital in San Jose, where he underwent emergency surgery to remove a blood clot. He spent a week in the Neuro ICU, transferred to a rehab center for three weeks, relearning how to walk and perform everyday tasks. Since coming home, he has ended up back in the hospital multiple times with complications. Will is back home and improving every day, but he still has a long road ahead of him.
Sequoia, has been making trips from Fairfield to San Jose, managing the household with 6 children and being a caregiver. Will has regular physical therapy, post-op specialty appointments, and needs a caregiver to assist with daily tasks.
During this challenging time, the added costs of gas, hotels, and food have become overwhelming, placing an immense financial strain on their family. They are trying to focus on Will’s recovery, but the mounting expenses threaten to divert their attention from healing.
Will has donated so much to our community, and now it's time for us to return the favor. It has been almost two months since Will or his wife has been able to go to work, because of his emergency surgery. They are currently trying to obtain disability, but as of now, his disability has not been approved.
Let’s come together to support. Please consider donating to Will and his family as they journey toward recovery, so they can focus their time and energy on his recovery without the added financial burden this situation has caused.
Every contribution counts; no amount is too small. Sharing this story with your network can also have a significant impact, raising awareness and encouraging others to lend a hand.
Your kindness and support mean the world to Will and his loved ones during this difficult time. Sequoia Williams is listed as the beneficiary, and all donations are to her and her family.
