This fundraiser is for a local retiree couple, Bob and Marian Redmond. They were defrauded by professional scammers. Their retirement savings were wiped out. Bob has coached football in his local community for over 50 years. Both grew up in an era of local community trust and honest interactions, that seem to be less common these days.
