Community Mutual AID (Auburn, Algona, Pacific) started this gofundme to aid the Indigenous communities, and families that are being marginalized such is the undocumented community.

Most of these families unfairly have been left out from government aid and did not receive stimulus checks even though they are taxpayers. This aid is local and direct. Many non-profits have a long waitlist and our community is being left out. This is not charity, this is solidarity. We will watch out and care for one another. 


 The funds will go towards basic needs and help with utility bills of the families.

We will prioritize those who have tested positive for COVID-19 and are in mandatory quarantine.

 

This is a community effort, we are regular folks who have been active in various organizing campaigns, mutual aid work, and more importantly, in community with each other. This is a result of love for our community. We are a collective of volunteers not a non-profit. That means no overhead, every dollar towards groceries, supplies, direct support. 

Please consider donating some of your stimulus checks to those who didn't receive one. Any amount is helpful.
