Many of you know Sheri, Sheri Bobbins, Sher-bear… whatever you call her, she is always sure to bring sunshine and rays of love to all of those she crosses paths with. Whether you are in Brenneis Greenhouses, or the Farm Store at 2BK Vegetable Farm, Sheri is there with a smile, a laugh, and a pocket full of sour candies.

She has a way with people, flowers, and anything on the farm. It is obvious that she is a staple in the Brenneis Vegetable Garden, Brenneis Greenhouses, and now 2BK Vegetable Farm, but most of all she is family.

After years of dedicating herself and her love for horticulture to the community, it is now time for us to ask our community to return the love to Sheri, with us.

January should have been a month of getting greenhouses prepped, designing hanging baskets, and dreaming about her garden. Instead, Shari, with the love of her life Doug beside her, was given the news that would take the wind out of her sails.

It took the wind out of all our sails.

Our Sheri was diagnosed with uncurable Stage 3 Breast Cancer, which unfortunately has spread. In true Sheri fashion, she began the battle to fight like a girl; one round of radiation done and the chemo journey begins tomorrow.

We are reaching out to you all, to help us, help Sheri and Doug. Since Sheri needs to focus on her health and not on what is happening at the farms, we are asking for any financial contributions you can make (small or big). These funds raised will help the family cover any medical expenses and alleviate the financial stresses they are facing while fighting for her life.

If you cannot help financially, please send positive vibes, love, and strength to our beautiful Sheri. She needs it more than ever.
