Community Love for Natosha

Natosha Via is a noted artist, active community member, and beloved friend to many of us. For years and years, she has offered her creative talents and works of heart to sustain and fortify our community in myriad ways, amplifying stories that would otherwise go untold, elevating other local artists, and reinforcing vital community efforts. She has donated resources of time, talent, and treasure and has extended other mutual aid extensively, often privately. She has regularly done all this without pay and always with no expectation of anything in return. Now, she needs our support.

This past week, Natosha was in a car accident (she is physically okay, but her car is not). Her dear 15-year canine companion, Reggie, passed away. The home she has been working steadfastly to restore for more than a year, investing many hours of her own sweat and blood in the refurbishing, has presented pressing updates required to make the house livable. There are bills to contractors and electricians mounting. These compounding expenses and losses offer those of us who adore her a wonderful opportunity to return Natosha's kindness to her.

Everyone who knows Natosha adores her gentle, fierce, radically loving person. We also know she is a humble soul who lives very modestly and intentionally. Let's shower her with the kind of generosity with which she so freely gives.
