This fundraiser is for the Miller family, a family who has always been the givers for their community. Haley is a RN and daycare provider and her husband Seth was in the Army National Guard and currently is a Nebraska State Trooper. With their chosen professions it is apparent how much they care for others. Now, it is time for our community to give back and battle with them. Haley Miller has been diagnosed with GPA (granulomatosis with polyangiitis), vasculitis, and relapsing polychondritis. This is a rare and complex disease. Haley has never asked for help and wouldn’t ask for help, but I want to show her a community loves and supports them. Haley will undergo chemo infusions as her latest treatments have failed. With her chemo treatments, she will be unable to work as this disease even makes the simple day-to-day activities a chore. She is a trooper who deserves help even when she doesn’t want to ask for it. Her 3 little boys and husband have been her backbone through it all. As we all know, when two incomes become just one in a household, things can get stressful. I ask that we lessen that burden and help provide during this time. These funds will go to medical expenses, bills, food, and travel to the Cancer Center in Omaha.
