Community Love for Bronko's Recovery

Hi everyone! My name is Myca Rehmeyer and I'm the manager at Anytime Fitness in Northfield. We're raising funds for our beloved trainer, Bronko Lemke, as he has had a rough go with his health this year. Bronko suffered a stroke a few months back and made an amazingly full recovery. Unfortunately, right now, he is fighting a spinal infection, and we are unsure of when or if he will be able to return to work. I wanted to bring the community together with this fundraiser to show Bronko just how much he means to this community and to this gym. Bronko has been the backbone of our training department in Northfield and has helped me and many others, in our fitness journeys as well as schooling me on how to run a gym. He has a plethora of knowledge for all things fitness, and we are so very thankful for him. Help us to show our appreciation and give him a little room to breathe financially. I'm setting the bar low in hopes we can blow this out of the water for him. Funds raised will go towards any medical bills and living expenses as Bronko has not been able to work during this time.

12.9.24 EDIT TO ADD: An update on Bronko: He is still being treated in the hospital for what is seeming to be an infection in his blood stream. I have raised the bar a bit from 1K to 5K.

12.16.24 EDIT TO ADD: An update on Bronko: He is still in the hospital being treated for multiple infections in his ankle, spine, and hip. His condition is considered serious as his body is not responding properly to the meds. I have raised our goal from 5K to 7K. Please continue to pray for Bronko's strength and recovery. Words of encouragement to Bronko on his Facebook wall are highly recommended. Thank you, all.

12.26.24 EDIT TO ADD: Update on Bronko: He is still at Abbot in Minneapolis but is doing BETTER. He is trending upward in terms of healing and recovery. Very small steps forward but moving in the right direction! THANK YOU, everyone for the continued prayers, cards and generous gifts. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

12.30.24 EDIT TO ADD: An update on Bronko: He is doing well. GO BRONKO!! He will be moved to a Transitional Care Unit Farmington right after the new year. Recovery time is looking to be around 3-6 months.

01/22/2025 EDIT TO ADD: Hi Everyone, it's been a while since I have given an update on Bronko but he is now and has been recovering quiet well in Farmington at Trinity Care Center for the last month or so. There's still a long road ahead, but he is making progress and gaining strength with continued therapy. Please continue to donate, share, and send encouragement as its much appreciated. I have updated his address below.
