Help Community leader, loving father rebuild cabin

Hi,

If you've been watching the news in Canada, then you've probably heard about the destructive wildfires wreaking havoc on communities all around Alberta. Unfortunately, our small Metis community was badly when 3 fires converged into one and destroyed a lot of the community infrastructure.

My dad, Harry Supernault, a selfless and compassionate community leader of over 50 years lost his home in the fire. A two-story cabin he built through much of my childhood that my family spent a lot of summers and even winters at, growing up. The Cabin has been his home for more than a decade and took the work of our family to build. And over the weekend it burnt to the ground as well as some of his vehicles, tool shed, and other equipment around the property.

Having just retired at 68 years old, he was happy to spend the rest of his life at the cabin, but now there is nothing there.

Our family is asking for your help in fundraising $20,000 to help us rebuild his Cabin. He has been focused on helping the community and showing his support for our members who bravely defended our community from the fires so we've put this fundraiser together to support him.

Anything you can give, whether $5 or hundreds will help him get to rebuild his Cabin.

My dad has served our community for over 50 years and has never hesitated to drop everything to help someone in need, related or not. He was content with his two-story home and had just begun his retirement (Well, retiring from full-time work, he refuses to actually stop helping others when he can).
