She is a pillar of leadership in our Kankakee community and is always being a pillar of good. Amanda/Amy Laws is the founder of Halloween Downtown- a festival that is a community event that gives a safe place for children in Kankakee to enjoy Halloween. Amy has tirelessly given to our community without a red penny in return. Now- Amy needs our help! Amy’s vehicle took a turn for the worse that the shop advised it was time to begin looking for a new vehicle and due to her father passing she has been unable to save enough money. Amy has an autoimmune disease that requires her to have a multitude of specialists and doctors appointments. This vehicle is essential to her health, her community work, her family needs and her career. Please help me in fundraising Amy for a new vehicle so she can continue to live healthy and continue her mission to continue to have Halloween Downtown around for children to have a safe place to enjoy Halloween.
