Dear all,

Elie is a 24-year-old trans woman from Morocco, currently in Thailand while she saves up for a journey to Brazil where she can apply for asylum. Elie has been trough a lot, the past year. She fled Morocco in fear of her life, stayed in Turkey with the help of queer locals, ended up being attacked multiple times, being unrightfully denied on flights to Brazil by Turkish Airlines and now ending up in Thailand in the hopes of traveling to a different country where she can apply for asylum. She is running on empty, she is tired and still very unsettled.

The registration process with the UNHCR is a slow one, and she is dependant on donations to find shelter and buy food, because she is not allowed to work.

A lot of people stood up to help Elie flee Turkey with a previous successful campaign. Now we are hoping you will donate to help Elie stay strong and fight for her rights for safety and shelter.
