Hi, my name is Red and my little fur baby is named Gizmo. She’s recently become sick and in need of surgery that is currently out of financial capacity. She has a bladder stone about the size of a small plum that needs to be removed as soon as possible. She also has a slight heart murmur that may complicate anesthesia and will need a vet that has the capability to handle that type of surgery.

This is all as of today (January 21, 2026) via the Detroit Humane Society that is extremely helpful.

The full amount of the surgery is $800, but they did state that if they receive $400, I can do a payment plan for the remaining balance, so I’m hoping to at least reach that goal so we can get her into surgery right away.

If you’re able to help contribute anything at all, it would be GREATLY appreciated. It’s my first time doing one of these and I’m hoping my community and tribe can help my Gizmo out. She means the absolute world to me and I don’t know what I would do if I lost her.
