At approximately 1:30AM CST on January 27th, 2026, Meg was arrested for protesting against the ICE occupation in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She was one of three protesters - including a member of the press - who was arrested in Maple Grove, MN after an "unlawful assembly" was declared. You can view the footage of her arrest on X from Journalist Anthony Cabassa (viewer discretion advised - very violent.)

From the Star Tribune: "Protesters gathered outside the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Maple Grove to make noise Monday night. Organizers believed it is the hotel where order Patrol Cmdr. Greg Bovino is staying."

Meg was released pending charges of "Probable Cause to Riot in the 3rd Degree." The video shows her clearly standing and not causing harm to any individual or property.
