Community for Martha and Sophia Marshall

Dean Marshall,  loving husband to Martha and doting father to Sophia (13) died tragically and unexpectedly on Wednesday January 22, 2020.  The Marshalls have been an important addition to our family for the last 4.5 years as Martha has helped raise our daughter and her own child is like a sister to ours. She has also worked with other Berkeley, Oakland and Lamorinda Families as a nanny over the last 20 years. She is a true gem and deserves as much support as we can give her.
The emotional, physical and financial shock of losing Dean is made worse by the fact that the family must find a new home by March 1, move and plan and pay for a funeral. Dean would have wanted Sophia and Martha to live on without a financial burden and have opportunities for Sophia's education.
If you can, we'd so appreciate any donations you can make to lift up this heartbroken family. Funds will be put towards a deposit on a new apartment for Martha and Sophia, funeral expenses, grief counseling services and education funding for Sophia.
