️ Community Feast — Setting a Table of Grace in Pea Ridge
On Monday, November 24, we’re setting a table of grace for our community — a place where anyone carrying hunger, loneliness, or the quiet weight of uncertainty can find a seat, a meal, and kindness.
We expect to welcome 150–220 guests (stretching toward 300) for a Community Feast hosted in downtown Pea Ridge — every guest received with dignity: a warm meal, a listening ear, and prayer offered, not imposed.
This isn’t just a meal. It’s fellowship — rooted in Jesus’ words in Luke 14:12–14 and Matthew 25:35, where we’re invited to feed the hungry and love those who cannot “pay us back.”
The Heart Behind It
Our desire is simple: that every person who comes feels remembered, seen, and valued.
Especially in this season, with many families affected by unrenewed SNAP and EBT benefits due to the government shutdown, we want to respond with compassion and tangible care.
This Community Feast is an opportunity to serve together — to show our city what grace looks like when it takes the form of a shared table.
How You Can Help
We’re trusting that provision will come as hearts are stirred.
Your support will help cover:
Meal ingredients (proteins, sides, and desserts)
Serving supplies and utensils
Warming trays and simple equipment rentals
Modest decorations to make the space feel welcoming
A small emergency buffer for any last-minute needs
Our estimated need is $1,800–$2,000, but every gift matters.
Even $10 helps provide a full plate and a warm seat for someone in need.
️ Join the Table
Beyond giving, we’d love for you to be part of it:
Bring part of the meal (protein, side, or dessert)
Lend serving supplies or warming equipment
Volunteer for a 3-hour shift
Or simply come, serve, and share your love
If you’re interested, comment below or message directly — a volunteer and donation sign-up sheet will be sent shortly.
“For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was a stranger and you invited Me in.” — Matthew 25:35
Every contribution — whether through time, food, funds, or prayer — helps us resemble Christ to those who may feel unseen. Thank you for being part of this Community Feast and for turning generosity into grace.
Stewarding Every Dollar
We believe generosity should be met with integrity. Every dollar given will go directly toward feeding guests and creating a welcoming space — not administrative costs or overhead.
Here’s our simple breakdown of how funds will be used:
65–70% — Food ingredients (proteins, sides, desserts, and drinks)
15–20% — Serving supplies and equipment (plates, utensils, warming trays, etc.)
5–10% — Simple décor and setup costs to make the space feel warm and dignified
5–10% — Emergency buffer for last-minute needs or overflow meals
We’ll post brief updates as funds are used so everyone can see how their gift is being multiplied into shared meals and moments of grace.
“We trust provision will come as hearts are stirred — and we promise to handle that provision with care.”
