COMMUNITY EMERGENCY COVID RELIEF INITIATIVE

Hi there,

As you may or may not know my name is Emerencz and I'm a part of the arts and music community here in West Coast Canada. This week, we have seen a spike in infection due to the new variant and ongoing spread of COVID, putting many people at risk of being unable to pay their rent and other due bills for the month of December (and even going forward) Many people are relying on a small amount of money to survive right now and I want to call in the people in my virtual community to lend a hand to those who have been affected by COVID and cannot pay their ongoing bills.

After doing a poll on my social media, it is clear that 50% of the infected people in my life are unable to pay rent at the end of the month and over 65% of them are late on bills. The government is providing very little to help folks get through this time. We need to stick together and help each other.

Qualifications:

This initiative is set for those who have contracted COVID-19 and are directly unable to work or make money to pay their rent at the end of this month.

I will do my best to donate to those who are most at risk of houselessness, utilities being cut off, or who have been let go as a result of contracting COVID-19.

Simply message me on GoFundMe with the amount of money you will need to pay your rent or due bills that put you at risk of the above issues. Once I have received donations, I will be able to send through PayPal only if you're International (USA + other countries) and e-mail or PayPal transfer if you're Canadian.

This is the Christmas Holidays, so lets think of those who are desperately in need. If you are able to pay your rent, get your daily coffee, put gas in your car, etc, consider donating at least $20 as it could help someone you know survive and with their mental health as they are recovering from this.
