**Help Downtown Dave Get His Bike Fixed**

Last night, while riding in the back of Dave's bike, we were victims of a hit-and-run accident. As we crossed Santa Clara and 4th, we were struck by a car. If Dave hadn't swerved at the last minute, my daughter might have been seriously injured or worse.

Dave protected his passengers (my daughter and I) as best he could and took the brunt of the impact, suffering the most injuries. Although we were all ejected, he was hurt the worst. He is currently in recovery, but his LED cab rickshaw bike was almost totaled. This bike is Dave's livelihood, and it needs a lot of work before he can return to work.

No donation is too small. If we all pitch in as a community, we can get Dave's bike fixed in no time. Downtown Dave is a staple of the San Jose community and has given thousands of rides to the people of San Jose.
