I am raising funds for a fellow church member and dear friend, Pam, whose life was hit hard when her building had an unexpected leak that impacted her whole apartment. Overnight, she lost most of her personal belongings, leaving her in a very difficult situation.

Pam is always helping others in our Jersey City Heights community (and always doing so with an endless smile and positive attitude). On the day she found out her apartment was under water, she was in the middle of helping another friend in need. Did she leave her friend behind? No, she stayed by her friend to see the mission through even though she knew most of her personal items were ruined back home. As someone who is always there for others, I’m asking for all of us to come together to help a neighbor and friend in need (even if she would never ask for it herself).

The money raised will go directly toward helping her replace the essential items she lost. This support will help her begin to rebuild the inside of her home after such an unexpected loss. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping her get back on her feet.
