Hi youuuu, if you are reading this you know Deon. I am writing this as one of her many close friends, who loves her endlessly. If you know Deon, you likely also know what an incredible light they are to everyone around them. What a loyal friend, hard worker and huge hearted parent she is too. You very likely experienced her heart and listening ear as well, and you will definitely have had a night of dancing with her at some point. Or plan to! We know how much she deserves, and what a treasure she is to all of us.

For over 10 years Deon has needed top surgery, and we have found a surgeon in Jamaica who is ready. There is a cost, and Deon is already working very hard on survival, her own health and putting as much as she can towards it. If everyone who has ever met Deon can offer something, however small; we can get her there together.

What you put into humans, you get out in community. Deon has been driving the community in her car and connecting the diaspora with folks in Jamaica across the country for so long. Investing in her health and wellbeing is abundance for us all.
