Since I was a child, I have always loved animals, especially cats. My mom Joyce and my bonus mom Nancy, who have both passed on, were avid animal lovers and taught me the importance of caring for those who cannot speak for themselves. Their compassion and dedication to animals inspired me, and I want to help the community and the animals they loved so much.

The overpopulation of cats in my area has become a serious issue. While Paws in Putnam does an amazing job supporting local animals, the need is greater than ever. Many cats are left without food, shelter, or medical care. I want to step in and help by dedicating my time and resources to provide for these cats. To do this, we are setting up a safe space in our garage where cats can recover after being trapped and vetted. I have talked to several organizations for help within this process so that things can get started. The funds raised will go toward essential supplies like food, traps, kennels, litter boxes, litter, and cleaning and sanitation products. This will help create a safe and functional environment for the cats as they await adoption or return to their colonies.
