Help Lilia Heal

Our dear friend Lilia, caretaker of Red Salmon Arts (Resistencia Bookstore), UT Austin professor, and a pillar of our community, needs our support. After two recent falls, she’s facing foot and knee surgery, followed by 7-9 weeks of recovery.

Though she has insurance, she’ll still owe around $5,000 out-of-pocket expenses that will go on high-interest credit cards. As many of you know, Lilia often prioritizes keeping Resistencia’s doors open over paying herself, and with no teaching income until fall, these medical costs are an added burden.
