Community Bread Oven 4 Life

My name is Anoek and I am fundraising for the supply of a Community Bread Oven project for residents in the camp of the displaced in Deir Al-Balah, Southern Gaza.

After successfully fundraising for a solar charging station (completed in early January 2025), we are now hoping to collect the following funds:

$300 Oven with gas hose

$100 Pots (aluminum oven pans)

$300 Sugar 25 kg + Semolina 25 kg + Canned Vegetable Ghee 2 kg + Corn Starch 3 kg

$50 Small Cylinder 3 kg

$50 for a bowl to make the mixture (a bowl with a curve) and also a hand to remove the pastries from the bowls so they don’t stick

$ 150 various utensils

$40 transport of the oven to the community

The total for the project is $990.

However, in order to send the monies through remittance (avoiding banks) cost 35% (hopefully this will come down in case of a ceasefire).

Therefore the total target is $1,325

This micro-project intends to enable a group of women to start production of bread baking in the community. The idea is that the oven and initial ingredients are donated, and bread would be prepared by the woman and sold at a low nominal cost, so the income can be used to buy the raw ingredients again. So the project becomes self-sufficient as well as provide basic food at low cost. Any little support to the project would be hugely appreciated. The suffering being endured by each of the people in the camp, is beyond words.

Same as with the 1st project for the solar phone charging station, Ibrahim will be receiving the funds and implement the project.
