We have seen youth sports become a tax on parents to help their kids get access to the game that thrills the world. While private clubs have put up expensive, exclusionary walls of membership, Paxton Sports Academy (PSA) has spent the last 15 years making high-level, championship-winning basketball open to kids with heart instead of just wallets. Coach Tee's philosophy is to get help from the supportive community to pay for tournament fees and travel expenses instead of 10 parent's pocketbooks to make basketball available to all in the East Palo Alto area and surrounding community. He charges a minimal amount to cover the basics like insurance and a uniform - the rest we depend on you.
Coach Tee preaches commitment and community and enforces the skills and hunger players need to have to achieve higher goals. We need your help to keep this two decade-old program alive for now and years to come. Our Go Fund Me goal is to raise funds to bring this team of players to tournaments across the country where typically financially elite teams play and show how commitment to a goal prevails. We need your help to cover the expensive tournament fees, travel and food for players who can't afford it, and pay the bills to keep the practice gyms open and the practice equipment functional.
Help us keep basketball the community sport it was always meant to be. We'll win every game in your honor.
