Help! For 25 years I have been making day-glow art as a gift for San Francisco. I often do this work for free, as a labor of love, and I’ve never had any trouble scraping together the money on a project-by-project basis.
Unfortunately the company that makes Jazz (the tempera-based Day-Glow paint I have been using for almost all of my art for the past two decades) has informed me that they are discontinuing the line, and I only have a few more weeks left to make a final order.
I have honed my craft using this specific paint, and it will take time to find a replacement source for this specialized, glow-in-the-dark paint. Until then I still need the ability to keep making art uninterrupted. Ideally I’d like to acquire a years supply of this paint, and a few more basic art supplies.
If you’re unfamiliar, I am a Burning Man artist, a founding member of the Gayglo Street Theater, and the Creative Director for Comfort&Joy.
