Hello,
My name is Kristano, a lot of people will know me as DarkDullahan. Over the past couple of months, I have had a lot of personal struggles that have come to a head recently leading to a lot of unfortunate circumstances and struggles that I'm seeking help to escape.

I am currently racked with significant medical bills and debt due to all of the circumstances below.

Last year I was furloughed from my job for several months, with meager savings and my monthly bills as well as taking care of my grandmother, my funds rapidly dwindled, and I fell behind on my car payment. After a brief period, I continued work again but I was essentially treading water financially without making any headroom to be in a more secure position.

Come October right before my birthday on the 23rd, I received my last paycheck. With no source of income and no indication that I would be returning to work again, I began immediately trying to look for work elsewhere, I found temporary employment however that position would not start until early-to-mid December.

I started working this new job regularly and slowly building my financial stability back up and things were finally looking positive; I had a financial recovery plan, and February was going to put me back in the green.

Fast forward to several weeks ago on January 12th, I was driving to work when I began having significant pains in my back. I pulled over onto the shoulder of the road in extreme pain and began dry heaving onto the grass and lay there in subfreezing temps dizzy and in agony.
I managed to climb back into the car after a couple of minutes and reclined while sipping water. Once I stabilized, I changed course to the closest Emergency Room however about 10 minutes later I had to pull over again to call an ambulance due to the pain and lightheadedness.
I was forced to leave my car on the side of the highway as the ambulance took me to the ER. After several tests and a CT scan, it was confirmed that I had kidney stones, placing me on a litany of medications through the night.

I was released the following morning and was picked up from the hospital and taken to retrieve my car. When I got to where my car was parked, I realized it was missing. I opened my vehicle's geolocation, and it was showing in the town over at an impound lot.
Upon arriving and speaking with the individual at the lot my car was towed, but it was flagged for repossession. I try to remain calm and call my bank that handled my auto loan. They inform me that the vehicle was marked as repossessed as the account was marked as Charged off due to my being behind on payments as they delivered the letter to a residence I do not live at.

After getting home and informed by the doctor at the ER that I won't be able to work for a while. Due to all of these events, and the distance of my job from home (roughly an hour drive, one-way), I was informed that they would be severing my employment.

I'm currently in a situation where I have $11,000 in medical debt with the following bills, as well as have to find a bank that'll let me refinance my auto loan under my current circumstances, as due to my account being charged off it has caused my credit to nosedive.

I'm in a situation where I genuinely don't know what to do except rely on the kindness of others. I have to attempt to recover my car while looking for new employment - both of which heavily hinge on each other.
All the while paying off my medical bills while simultaneously paying my monthly bills and purchasing groceries.
These are all immediate issues that have arisen that I'm currently stuck with.

On top of that, over the past several years after the passing of my great grandparents my grandmother had been fighting to prevent DSS from taking their house and land, claiming that because they both passed away in nursing home care that Social Security was paying for, that my grandmother owes DSS $220,000. They placed a lien on the home, which was almost destitute. A lot of our funds have gone into repairing and replacing all of damaged aspects such as the ceiling which had fallen in, the floors, and the appliances and plumbing so that it could be a comfortable and livable home for my grandmother. It has been an extraordinarily expensive task, and even still, due to the age of the home it doesn't have central heating and air, which was going to cost an additional $12,000 but naturally has had to be postponed.

We're with the progress made on that, but I don't foresee being able to finish it any time soon under current circumstances unfortunately.
I will be honest...I've considered giving up and making peace with my current situation, accepting I probably won't be able to escape it, but I really want to keep fighting. It genuinely feels hopeless and pointless, but all I can do is ask for help if you're able.

I've set a donation goal of $12,000. Which will be split among both retrieving my car - using a portion as a down payment on a refinance, groceries and monthly bills, and a portion towards clearing my medical bills. It's a large sum and frankly I don't know if I can achieve it. But anything past that will go towards saving and planning for any future emergencies.

I really appreciate you taking the time to read and understand my situation and story, and if you're willing to donate and help, it means more than I could express in words.

Thank you, truly.
