Kim Girjatowicz, her 6 year old granddaughter Remmy Figueroa as well as Stephanie Serrenti and her daughter Riley Serrenti were involved in an accident on August 5th hauling a horse trailer with three horses just outside of Montrose, PA while on their way to a horse show.

The truck was t-boned head on, resulting in it flipping over and then catching fire, spreading to the horse trailer, with all people and horses trapped inside. In light of this tragic happening, we’re asking for the community’s help in order to cover hospital bills for everyone and for the horses. Remmy and Riley were life flighted to the pediatric burn unit.

Pippi, Kim’s longtime beautiful and spirited chestnut mare, is currently at Cornell’s ICU in critical condition. The other two horses are also at Cornell being treated for their injuries.

Kim and Pippi have helped countless children (including Remmy) as well as adults learn how to ride a horse.

I’ve put this Gofund me together to try to give back to Kim, her family and her horses, especially Pippi, who have helped put smiles on so many people’s face while teaching children and adults (including myself) how to ride while demonstrating caring horsemanship and training.
