Hello!

I'm a Bay Area-based art educator, nonprofit worker, visual artist, and community member. I've lived here for nearly five years, working in the arts and culture sector, alongside young people and marginalized communities.

In August 2025, I lost my job unexpectedly after returning from vacation. I've been searching and networking for months, applying to roles similar to what I've previously held, and roles I'm more than qualified for, with no callbacks.

This week, I learned that I had depleted my unemployment benefits, which were 1/4th of what I made monthly, further putting me in the red financially. And PG&E has hit me with a nearly $300 power bill.

I am working with a lawyer on my case, but for now, I need to focus on ensuring my essential bills are paid.
