Community aid during a rough patch

It is so hard for me to ask for help. My least favorite thing, in fact. I have had a very difficult several months of health challenges that have led to a slow down and then complete stop to my income. Most of the challenge for me has been a critical thinking and cognitive collapse. I am slowly starting to sort through it all to get caught up. As you all know, I’ve been on my own for three years and have been thriving. To admit that this has gotten to the point of needing to ask for help is unreal to me. My friend told me the other day that I would need to admit that even the strong and successful ones sometimes need help. I’m no better than anyone else, and I’m asking for it.

I am a problem solver, and I have no doubt things will get better soon. I’m taking steps each day. But for now, I need help paying my mortgage. Can you help?
